Payment Options

Method of Payment:

Central Electric currently accepts cash, checks and money orders as method of payment.  Please make sure that your payment reaches our office by the 20th of each month to avoid a $5.00 penalty.

Bank Draft:

Looking for a hassle free way to pay your bill each month?  If your account is being billed on our new Automated Meter Reading (AMR) system, you are eligible to sign up for our Bank Draft program.  Simply print the authorization form and return it completed with a voided check (for a checking account) or deposit slip (for a savings account).  We cannot accept deposit slips on checking accounts as they have different routing numbers. 

Your payment will be debited from your account each month on the 15th.  If the 15th falls on a holiday or weekend, it will be deducted on the next business day.  You will still receive a bill each month and it will read “Automatic Payment by Bank Draft”.

Please mail your payment to Central Electric Cooperative, PO Box 130, Plankinton SD 57368-0130 in the envelope that was provided in your packet.
