Each year, Central Electric Cooperative hosts district meetings and the annual meeting for the cooperative membership. It is an opportunity for members to take part in the business meeting and connect with cooperative employees, directors, and fellow members. Come for a free meal and the opportunity to learn more about your cooperative.

Annual Meeting

Your Annual Meeting will be held at the Corn Palace in Mitchell on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026. Watch for more details on the Annual Meeting as the date gets closer. 

District Meetings

Eight local district meetings will be held in June. Elections are planned in Aurora County, Brule County and Buffalo County in 2026. Petition dates are listed below. Interested members should call the office to obtain a petition. 

District meetings provide members with a chance to learn about cooperative happenings and have discussions with management and board members. Below is the tentative District Meeting schedule, which may be subject to change until the official notice is mailed 10-25 days in advance.
